CHRIST THE KING PARISH SURVEY
JANUARY 2012

Dear Fellow Parishioners,

We just finished celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of our parish. Looking around we have so many blessings to be grateful for: a growing and vibrant church, a wonderful pastoral staff, a great school and over 50 active ministries. Every weekend our church is full of people of all ages, races and ethnicities, brought together by our common faith.

We know that’s how the parish council feels, and we know many of you agree. But are we reaching everyone we could? Are the ministries and programs here at Christ the King addressing the needs of everyone in our community? Have we left someone behind?

That’s a difficult question to answer. We want to build a church that will still be growing and vibrant during the next 60 years. We can do that by making sure we are always actively looking for ways to live up to our parish motto: To Hear the Gospel and Make a Difference

We begin 2012 by asking everyone who attends CTK to participate in a brief survey. We want to hear from the young, and not so young, from men and women, long time parishioners and those who have recently joined us. Registered, or unregistered, cradle catholic or someone searching for a spiritual home, your opinion matters. You are the church, not the buildings or the clergy. It’s those of us in the pews that can make a difference.

The survey asks your opinion of every aspect of CTK. If there is something we did not ask specifically about, you will have the opportunity to comment in your own words. Average time to complete the survey is about 15 minutes. Certainly our spiritual home is worth a little of our time to help make it stronger and more responsive to the needs of this faith community.

You can access and respond to the survey in two ways: an easy to use website or printed surveys available in the church.

  1. Please go to https://www.research.net/s/CTKParishSurvey2012 from any internet ready device. The link is also posted on the parish website www.ctkph.org
  2. For those more comfortable using a pen and paper, you’ll find copies of the survey in the church vestibule. Feel free to take the survey home and return it to the church next week.

Please help us continue to make Christ the King a spiritual home for coming generations.

May God bless you all, today and always,

Your Parish Council
