Members of the parish serve as Eucharistic Ministers and assist with the distribution of Communion during Mass. Parishioners interested in serving in this ministry are always welcome.

Parishioners bring communion each week to one or more persons who cannot leave their homes. They join in prayer, communion and conversation. Preparation and evenings of recollection are provided for anyone interested in this ministry

This ministry is one of love, caring and giving - one of the most rewarding of ministries. We have teams of ministries servicing two nursing homes. Each team is responsible for conducting one communion service a month at its assigned nursing home. The communion service takes place on Saturday mornings. It consists of welcoming, singing, praying, readings for Sunday and Holy Communion which serves to connect these people with the community of Christ the King Parish.
