According to diocesan policy, arrangements for weddings must begin at least six months prior to the date of marriage. At least one party should be a participating member of Christ the King Parish. Preparations include an initial meeting with a priest or staff person, the completion of marriage documents, participation in either a weekend Engaged Encounter or a series of evenings for the Engaged (six consecutive weekday evening sessions conducted by parishioners in their homes), in addition to planning the wedding ceremony and rehearsal with a Parish Wedding Coordinator:
