The Father’s Blessings
Deep inside our souls each of us carries a hunger for the father’s blessing.  We long to be the beloved sons of our personal fathers, to have our work and our being valued by male mentors, and to experience the unconditional love of God.   When the blessing is withheld or rejected we strive to “earn’ our worth in a variety of ways.   However, when we come to know that blessing, we are free to pass that blessing on to our children or others committed to our care.
