BECOMING CATHOLIC: ADULT SACRAMENTS & R.C.I.A.
The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) welcomes non-Catholics who are interested in joining the Catholic Church or simply becoming better informed. From mid-September through May, "inquirers" are invited to a weekly session that will take them through the process that can lead to full reception (Baptism, Confirmation & Eucharist) into the Church at Easter time.
Please see the RCIA website for more details and the latest news about the RCIA program at Christ the King.

Each Winter/Spring we offer a preparation course for Catholics over 21 who have never received the Sacrament of Confirmation; then the Sacrament is celebrated in April. This year we will offer a fall/winter course as well, with the sacrament celebrated in January. Any adults (21 to 101!) who have received baptism and communion but never confirmation should call our office now. We'll set up classes at a day and time best for all. Call us with your name and phone number at 682-2486.
