Christ the King Parish has two Centering Prayer groups meeting weekly. Wednesday, it is at the Resurrection Episcopal Church, 399 Gregory Lane, at 7:30 pm, facilitated by Jeanne Plety and Pat Stevens. On Thursday morning a group meets at 10 a.m. in the Ministry Center, facilitated by Jodi Henrekin.

All parishioners are welcome to come every Wednesday
from 7:30 p.m. (Bible sharing) and 8:15-9:30 p.m. (for praise and worship) to #6 St. Lawrence Ct., Pleasant Hill, to offer prayers of praise and worship and to share charismatic gifts. Guidance and
support is provided for all who wish to discover their spiritual gifts and
to learn how to use them in serving the Church.

The main objective of the O.L.P. Family Prayer Group is to promote an ardent devotion rooted in the Philippines for many years. The group meets every Friday at 8:00 p.m. at the home of a host family. There is a novena in a three-fold devotion: an invocation to the Blessed Virgin Mary for world peace; prayers to the Holy Infant Jesus for family blessings and unity; and an appeal to Our Lord of Pardon (Crucifix) for the forgiveness of our sins and the sins of the world. Throughout May and October, the devotion of Our Lady of Fatima is added. Every night the statue of the Blessed Lady is transferred from one house to another and the Rosary is recited faithfully. Also, in May, a Sunday Mass and fiesta are celebrated as part of the devotion. All parishioners are welcome to join.

This group meets every Tuesday from 7 to 7:30 p.m. in the vestibule of the church. There is a twenty minute Rosary followed by a ten minute prayer devotion to our Blessed Mother. Everyone is welcome. Please note: Every third Tuesday of the month the group meets at the Chateau located at Pleasant Hill Rd. (across from Navlets).

Christ the King Rosary makers make free rosaries for
needy projects around the world: missionaries, prisons and hospital
chaplains, etc. The group meets Monday evenings once a month at 7:15 p.m.

On the first Sunday evening of each month a number of the Christian Churches of Pleasant Hill sponsor an hour of devotional prayer in the spirit and music of Taize (the ecumenical monastic community in Southern France). The prayer time (one hour from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.) includes song, scripture, quiet time and the opportunity to touch or kneel by the cross with your intentions, worries and burdens. The location rotates through each of the Churches.
