FAITH FORMATION/RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
( 3 YR. OLDS – 8th GRADE)

Our parish provides faith formation for Public School children (3 yrs. old – 8th grade) and any other children interested in the Catholic Faith.   Classes are staffed by dedicated volunteers who receive ongoing education and enrichment to ensure that they are both confident and  competent.

The Office is located in the Msgr. Wade Center facing Gregory Lane.  Classes are held in the Parish Hall, in Rooms A, B, C, D, and in the School and Ministry Center.

Three Year Old:  Registration: 2nd Sunday of September (limited enrollment) Classes during the 9:l5 Mass, (Room D)
Pre-school (4 yrs. old): Sunday during the 9:15 a.m. Mass

Kindergarten (5 yrs. old): Sunday during 9:15 a.m. Mass

1st thru 3rd grades: 3:40-5:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday or                            Thursday  (CTK School)

BAPTISMS/4 YEARS OLD-8TH GRADE
Children who have not been Baptized need to be registered in the Religious Education Program.  A special period of preparation is provided for parents and children.

FIRST EUCHARIST/RECONCILIATION (GRADES 2 - 8)
First Eucharist for children is celebrated in a group setting each Spring or individually as requested by parents.  Parents decide when their child is ready for the Sacrament.  Meetings for all parents whose children are anticipating First Eucharist or First Reconciliation are held during the Fall and Spring.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
Children in grades l-5 are invited to experience God’s Word during Mass at a level appropriate to them.  The Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered at the 9:15 a.m. Sunday Mass from mid-September-May.  No pre-registration is needed.  Parishioners are invited to form teams to assist once a month throughout the year.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY COMMITTEE
The Children’s Liturgy Committee meets as needed to plan special liturgies on the children for selected Sundays during the year.  Parishioners are invited to expand worship possibilities for our children and to assist at different times during the year.

VACATION BIBLE CAMP
Children in grades K-5 spend one week vacationing with Jesus in activities, drama Scripture, song, games and FUN.  Vacation Bible Camp runs from 9:00 a.m.until l2:00 Noon  for one week in mid-June. Registration is required.  Look for registration and volunteer forms in mid-April or early May.  Questions?
