The purpose of this organization is to assist the needy on a person-to-person basis. Emergency food, clothing and other services are provided. Volunteers meet with needy families and individuals Monday through Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Parish House.
Parishioners make this emergency financial aid possible through their generous contributions to a special collection taken up four times a year (on the fifth Sunday of the month).
If you are in need or know of anyone who is in need, please call the parish house at 682-2486. In our past fiscal year from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 we helped 15,564 adults and children. Of those people 4,830 cases came to our door.
St. Vincent de Paul Society meets monthly on the First and Third Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m in the Adult Education Center. New members are always welcome.
