Sacramental Prep Process
Rejoice! Your Child Wants to be Confirmed!
Confirmation is one of three sacraments that complete your initiation into the Catholic Church. Christ The King Youth Ministry leads this Confirmation journey and builds the kingdom of God by guiding teens to: follow Christ as disciples; reach out to those in need; live the Gospel and Church teachings; support each others journeys; and call out to those who are lost. Built on a foundation of community building and solid catechesis, the process is designed to be a supportive, faith-centered community of peers, a "Church within the Church."
Preparing for Confirmation is a 2 consecutive year process that begins with year of High School Inquiry and continues with Sacramental Preparation the following year.
Jr. High Inquiry
Not required, but highly encouraged. Discipleship begins early.
Christ the King's Jr. High Inquiry reintroduces 7th and 8th graders to the fundamentals of the Catholic Church. They explore, question, and challenge their faith in exciting ways. Join us for fun and faith. Make new friends and build your relationship with Jesus in a whole new way.
Session Meetings
Twice a month on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:15 PM
High School Inquiry
The journey begins with High School Inquiry.
Combing the social nature of teens with the joy of learning, teens are guided into expressing their relationship with Jesus though games, skits, field trips, and retreats.
Here teens are encouraged to speak their mind, ask questions, and challenge common misconceptions about faith. Learn what it means to have a relationship with Jesus and live a Catholic life.

Sundays beginning with 4:00 PM Youth Mass followed buy sessions from 5:00 - 6:15 PM
Sacramental Prep
Receiving the Gifts of the Holy Spirit; wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord can be a life changing journey.
In this second year of preparation teens enroll in Sacramental Prep.
Diving deeper into the understanding of the faith they express and encounter Christ in new ways. Adoration and Reconciliation are reintroduced to them and a more spiritual retreat experience rounds out their preparation.
