Father Paulson Mundanmani
Pastor
Father Paulson served as Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church, Walnut Creek and interim administrator of St. Isidore, Danville. He serves as a member of the diocesan Racial Justice council. He also serves as the Chaplain to [email protected], a diocesan ministry that meets the needs of Catholic professionals and business persons. Fr. Paulson holds a doctoral degree in Education (USF) and MBA in human resources development. Recently he published a book titled, "Bread Blessed and Broken for the World."
Father Lee Chompoochan
Associate Pastor
Fr. Lee joined St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park in 2003 and was ordained to the priesthood on May 20, 2006. He served with Fr. Larry Young at St. Patrick parish in Pinole before moving to The Catholic Community of Pleasanton and then to Holy Spirit Parish in Fremont. Fr. Lee, whose baptism name is Raphael, serves not only God’s people in the Oakland Diocese, but also the Thai Catholics here in California: from LA to Sacramento.

Sr. Dominic Marie Bonnici, OP
Pastoral Associate
Sr. Dominic is a Dominican Sister of Oakford and lives in community in Oakland. She has served in ministries in Arizona and across the East Bay. Sr. holds a BA in Religious Studies from St. Mary College in Moraga and an MA in Pastoral Ministry from St. Michael College in Vermont.
Deacon John Ashmore
Director of Faith Formation
Deacon John and his wife Julie came to Christ the King in February 2008. Serving at liturgies, preaching, teaching baptism classes with Julie, preparing couples for marriage and being there for others in good and bad times energizes Deacon John. In his role of Director of Faith Formation, Deacon John and Julie look forward to being even more involved in all aspects of parish life.
Joseph Silveira, Ed.D.
Principal, Christ the King School
Joe is humbled and honored to be the principal of Christ the King Catholic School. Joe and his wife Merrilee (Director of Academic and Learning Success) at her alma mater Carondelet High School are blessed with four children: a daughter, Sancianna (Saint Mary’s College class of 2019), and three younger sons, Joseph (Franciscan University 2024), Christien, and Landen. Joe is committed to Catholic education and truly loves our Christ the King Catholic Community.

Rosa Panelli
Religious Education Administrator
Since 2016 Rosa has been working in the Religious Education Office. She assists Deacon John, the Director of Faith Formation, with everything from registration, volunteer coordination and catechist prep; to retreat planning and special liturgies. Rosa, her husband and her daughter have been parishioners of Christ the King church since 2008.
Mike Aliscad
Youth Minister & Confirmation Coordinator
As a high school Junior Mike taught 5th grade catechism on Yokosuka Naval Base in Japan. 20 years later he's still guiding youth to build a relationship with Jesus. Most recently he spent 2 years as Youth Minister and Confirmation Catechist with St. Michael Catholic Community on Travis Air Force Base and 6 years as Youth Minister at Holy Spirit in Fairfield CA.

Jennifer Bennett
Music Ministry Coordinator
Jennifer has been a parishioner since 2006, and she and her husband Nate have two girls in school at Christ the King. She has been singing in church since she was 3, and professionally in a variety of venues since college. She currently owns a legal recruiting business, and works with law firms and corporations across the country. Jennifer is originally from the East Coast (NY Metro Area), graduated from Cornell University, and is currently completing her 23rd year of "just trying out California for a year or two."
Angela Borba
Sunday 10:30am Mass Choir Director
Angela Borba is the director of the 10:30 Adult Choir at Christ the King. Ms. Borba holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a Choral concentration from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, and a Master’s in Music Education with a Kodaly emphasis from Holy Names University. In addition to her Kodaly training, she completed her Orff Level I Certification at Belmont University in Nashville. Angela has been a general music and chorus teacher in the Lafayette School District for over a decade. In addition to teaching music in the Lafayette School District, Angela is a choral director on staff with Danville Girls Chorus.
Janet Kaminsky
Pianist
Janet, a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) attended the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago Illinois, where she earned her B.M. and M.M. in Piano Performance. She is active as a soloist, chamber musician, teacher, adjudicator, lecturer and church musician. Janet, a parishioner, has been the pianist for the 10:30 Mass since 1993.
Lan Tran
Pianist
Lan Tran attended the Saigon Conservatory of Music in Vietnam and received her Bachelor's Degree as an Honor Student in 1988. Immigrated to US in 1992, Lan Tran has changed her career from Piano Teacher to Accountant but still continue to perform in various recitals and concerts as Soloist as well as Accompanist in Chamber Ensembles. She is currently working with Contra Costa County Office of Education. She enjoys cooking and playing Trio with her husband and her daughter in their SOLAVI Trio group.
