No Cash, No Checks, No Problem!
We are living in a cashless society, where an increasing number of people are using contactless payments for monetary transactions. With parishioners not having checks or cash, but wanting to support the work of our parish, we are introducing an easy way to make contributions.
The devices you see in the vestibule allow you to donate the amount listed by simply tapping your card or smart phone on the device. No need for cash or checks.
This option does not replace our Realm on-line giving system, which supports regular contributions to our parish from your bank account or credit card. Rather, this is a way to contribute while at church if you wish to do so. You can still receive a tax receipt for your donation, but you will need to register your card.
You can tap multiple times if you wish to donate a different amount. For example, if you wish to donate $30 just tap the $20 then the $10 device.
Your credit card or bank statement will read Christ the King for your donations.
We can also track your donations for tax reporting as well, but you need to register your credit or debit card. After your first donation click here:
Be assured that this information is not stored on the device and is encrypted from end to end to protect your data.
- This only needs to be done once per card.
- Multiple cards can be registered.
- ONLY physical debit or credit cards are eligible for tax receipts.
IMPORTANT! Donations made via Digital Wallets, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, cannot be used to generate tax receipts. They will be treated as anonymous donations.
